About Zee Online Tools
Zee Online Tools is a small set of free utilities for everyday tasks. Each one runs entirely in your browser, so your photos and files are not uploaded to our servers.
Why this site exists
Many online image tools upload your file to a server, ask you to sign up, or hide the result behind a paywall. We wanted the opposite: tools that do one job, work immediately, and never take a copy of your photo. That matters most for pictures of faces and identity documents.
What you can do here
- Compress an image to an exact size in KB, for upload forms that set a limit.
- Crop a photo to passport, visa or ID size in millimetres and pixels.
- Solve Wordle with a clue-based helper, or search five-letter words by pattern.
- Find your face shape and get hair and glasses tips.
How we keep the information accurate
Photo size rules and file limits change, and different offices have different rules. For each document page we follow the same process:
- We open the issuer's own page, such as GOV.UK, Canada.ca or the Australian Passport Office, and read the requirement.
- We record the date we checked it and link to the source on the page.
- We show a badge: "checked" if the numbers were read from the issuer's page, "partly checked" if only some were, and "not confirmed" if the official page could not be read and the figures come from other sources.
- Where an issuer's rules mean a resizer is not suitable, for example when photos must be professionally printed or must not be cropped, we say so on the page.

Who builds it
Zee Online Tools is built and maintained by Zeeshan Ali, a senior full-stack developer based in Brisbane, Australia, who writes the tool code and the tests. The photo-size information is not original expertise: it comes from the issuers' own pages, which we link and date on every page. You can find the author on LinkedIn and GitHub.
How the tools are built
The site is made of static pages that load a small amount of JavaScript for each tool. Image compression and photo cropping use your browser's own image features. The face shape tool uses an open face-landmark model that runs on your device. The word tools use a public-domain five-letter word list, and the statistics on those pages are calculated from that list. We test the tool logic with automated tests and check every page for broken links and structured-data errors before it is published.
Limits you should know about
- A resizer fixes the size of a photo, not its quality. Issuers also check head position, expression, lighting and background.
- The face shape result is an estimate from simple proportions, not a professional assessment.
- The Wordle helper uses a general word list, not the official Wordle answer list.
Corrections
If you find a wrong size or an out-of-date rule, please tell us with a link to the official page. We will check it, correct the page and update its review date.
